Very ironic that Judgement and God of War Ascension came out around the same time. Both disappointing prequels that do little to hype you for the next gen installments.

I don't know. I know people who have enjoyed Ascension a lot. I enjoyed the Aftermath campaing of Judgment a lot too; it just let me wondering why the rest of the campaing couldn't be like that segment.

But you can say both prequels underperformed in comparison with their predecessors.

The singleplayer is good, but the multiplayer is pure fucking trash.

This is the only Gears game I never bothered to finish. I got it on day one--I may have even pre-ordered it. I can't remember. I'll check the receipt in the case (when I buy a game, the receipt goes in the case). Anyway, I had every intention of loving this game like I did all of the others in the series. I kept waiting for it to "get good" and, at some point, I realized that wasn't going to happen. The game ended up on the shelf, never to be played again.

Aftermath, my man. It's what you were expecting. I suggest booting up the campaing, playing on Casual and grabbing those 40 stars as far as you can, then send the campaing straight to hell and play the unlocked Aftermath campaing.

Too bad it lasts like 4 hours. But those are the most awesome 4 hours you can find in Judgment.
