No there was better games

I didn't think either of them were that good. They were both good games with great production values, and overall fun experiences.

I liked fire emblem the best. But I could see why people would like those.

By VGX's own metric GTAV didn't deserve the award. It was bested by Brothers and TLOU on 360 and PS3 respectively, and it was also beaten by AC4 in the action adventure category. So how the fuck did it win GOTY??? Ridiculous.

No, and I think the other 3 deserved more. I can't say anything of Mario since I haven't played yet.

Or those other games didn't deserve those awards and grand theft auto did.

This happens at a lot of award shows. It's nonsensical, but the way the world works.

IE Black Keys won best rock album, Bonnie Rait won best Americana album of the year despite mumford and sons being nominated, and Mumford and Sons won album of the year

The Last of Us deserved it more.

Last of us was better although it's multiplayer wasent special, it wasent the main feature it was the story, it had everything a story should of had, it made you feel for the characters. GTA 5 was good but to me it was over hyped, got boring after awhile, personally i prefer Last of Us, GTA has a bigger fanbase and since it was delayed a couple of times it hyped it even more. ( My Opinion)
