I would love to see Metroid on Wii U. Metroid Prime had some of the best graphics of its time, and even now it still looks amazing! Imagine what the Wii U could do for Metroid! Or rather, imagine what Metroid could do for Wii U!

If it's a Metroid PRIME...Wii-U. If it's not, handheld. Oh, and get the guy who made Fusion. He's the man.

H ealso made Metroid Other:M. I'm not too confident with Sakamoto being in charge unless someone is looking over his shoulder.

Have you seen his resume? Everyone has a bomb every now and again. I mean, look at Miyamoto and Wii Music. He is regarded as the "dark" Miyamoto at Nintendo meaning, his games usually have more grit and a darker tone, which is why Fusion is so bad ass.

Wii U all the way. Even for 2D Metroid, the epic atmosphere and music requires epic image quality and speaker setup.

Even though a Hunters style I could accept for the 3DS, only with a longer campaign. It fits more with handheld gameplay with the mission set up, even if it sucks compared to home console versions.

Yep.

The WiiU, but I can´t decide what would be cooler, first person, third person, 2,5D or straight 2D.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Metroid Fusion sequel on 3DS. Either traditional 2D side-scroller or 2.5D Other M-esque gameplay (while obviously fixing the many flaws of Other M)

Metroid 2 remake for Wii U. Prime style gameplay.

Both launch in 2014/2015 together like Fusion/Prime did in 2002.

I still would not give him absolute control over the game. Lots of the bad decisions in the game were made by him.  I mean, com'on. Who in the hell thought it was a good idea to use only the dpad for movement? While Sakamoto tried to be ambitious with the tone and story with Other M, it turned out to be stupid and generic. He can work on the next Metroid game but I want someone who knows what they are doing to slap sense into Sakamoto.

The metroid franchise is always on consoles unless you count the other metroid game for the gba

There's more than 1 handheld Metroid game.

Metroid II: Return of Samus

Metroid Fusion

Metroid Zero Mission

Metroid Prime: Hunters

MY preference, is to not see another Prime game (even though they're good), and CERTAINLY never another abortion like Other M. What I want, is another REAL Metroid game, ala Super Metroid, in glorious HD, SPRITE based, with awesome classic gameplay, and a great soundtrack. And it would help to not have a retarded ass story.

And I want this on Wii U.

I would like a metroid other M stile or third person adventure on the wii U, and a first person view on the gamepad.(or vice-versa)

Also a 2.5D platform in 3DS would be nice.
