Forums - Gaming Discussion - Dying Light 1080p On PS4 No Word On XB1 VGX Video Walkthrough Inside

The PlayStation 4 version of Dead Island developer Techland's new zombie game Dying Light runs in 1080p, a representative for the studio confirmed tonight during the Spike VGX Awards.

Techland provided a live gameplay demonstration of Dying Light on the PS4 during the show. It is unclear what the native resolution is for the Xbox One version of the game.

Dying Light, published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, launches sometime in 2014. In addition to PS4 and Xbox One, the game will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, but not Wii U.

The game features a full day-night cycle. During the daytime, players must scavenge the world for supplies and weapons; when day turns to night, the hunter becomes the hunted.
