PS+ is a great service, but these games aren't free. It's a rental service like Netflix, and, like Netflix, it's great. However if you value owning games and have specific tastes, then Plus might not be right for you.

Also, I think people have every right to complain about paying for online multiplayer.

I don't think rental is a good analogy, since you have to give a rental back. Netflix and PSN+ you can just keep extending the subscription.

Maybe a gym membership is a better analogy? You pay a yearly fee to get access to the equipment but can't take it home with you.

NO a rental service is fine. If I get a disc off of Netflix I do not have to return it til I want to. Its not like I get a movie in the mail and then have only 24 hours to watch it.

You only have until you pay your bill though... kinda like having to renew your subscription

Unless you play a ton of games, it's not worth it. And even if you play a lot of games, it's still not worth it if you want as much as possible at launch because games come to PS+ only later. Not only that, you don't even own any of the "free" games you get on PS+: You lose access to them as soon as your subcription ends.

Just for online multiplayer, PS+ isn't worth it in general. Essentially online multiplayer is a feature that's not 'extra' for Plus subscribers, it's a basic feature locked behind a paywall.

50 bucks a year for online gaming and over a hundred games is definitely worth it

Online play should be free so it provides no extra worth. Over a hundred games takes a long time to get, most of them you're probably never going to play and if you got any of those before they came on PS+, for example if you buy them at launch, they're not worth anything extra. Not only that, but you don't own any of the games you get for the duration of your subcription. It's worth it only if you're a very active gamer who doesn't mind getting the games late.

Wow, ps+ is worth every penny because of the free games? Thumbs up, I've never heard this before! Only a genius can come to this conclusion, thanks for making our horizon wider.

PS+ is by far the best gaming service ever created. There is nothing that comes close to it....nothing.

The amount of games I've gotten across PS3/PS4/Vita is insane. I don't think I can ever finish off all these games...ever

For me, PS Plus has been worth it. Started it at July and I managed to play a lot of great games. I'll have a lot in my backlog now since I'm trying to platinum Kingdoms Of Amalur. So far, the only games that they have given me that I already had were GTA and UC3.

I do hope that it is very profitable to the developers and companies that put there games on the collection.

One question:

If I subscribe this month to ps plus will I get access to all free games from the beggining of the service ?

No you will not, unfortunatly.   Which from a business and senority standpoint, makes sense, the longer you have the service, the more stuff you will have.

Amazon and Gamestop(maybe Newegg too)  had Playstation Plus for 30 bucks.   THIS is the time to get the Subscriptions.

The three instant games on the Playstation Vita have remained since it became available on the Vita, but there's still a half dozen solid titles you missed out on.

I download everything free, even if I have no desire to play it, because either someone else might, or I might get to it one day and check it out because that person is curious about it.

It's exactly like a gym membership.    Sure, going to the gym is healthy, however, with the right mindset and equipment, you CAN make money off video games, which lets you buy the healthier stuff easier :P
