Ecuador got into a easy group except for France, nice.

Which teams are in the draw and which pot are they in?

Pot 1: Brazil, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, Uruguay, Switzerland

Pot 2: Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chile, Ecuador (7 teams)

Pot 3: Japan, Iran, South Korea, Australia, United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras

Pot 4: Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, England, Greece, Italy, Netherlands Portugal, Russia, France (9 teams)

Portugal and England are in pot 4 but Belgium is in pot 1?????

Portugal struggled to qualify... again.  had to go through a play off.

Belguim are very good at the moment.  Hazard, Komapny, Vertonghen, Dembele, Lukaku etc etc

England were a tad unlucky, given their qualification campaign.

I still dont think Belgium would stand a chance against Portugal, England, freaking Netherlands or even Russia

Belgium- Netherlands 4-2.

winning once doesn't prove your structurally stronger

Belgium would not stand a chance against countries as Netherlands.    And then Belgium won against Netherlands, I believe Belgium has a chance that is all.  Did not say anything about being stronger.

Be lucky you not in the group with Estonia.

Hopefully England getting knocked out ASAP will cause some changes at the FA.

Like, make it financially worthwhile for players to take it seriously. Have a serious English-nationality scouting/training programme. And remove all commitments in the run up to the World Cup to get lots of hours practice as a team.

We need more then that, the current mob in the team have little to no desire because they're millionaires regardless whether results come their way and don't have the winning mind set of teams like Brazil and Germany where even if plan A, B and C don't work they'll fight to make it work. This is all before you come to our player's actual abilities, we're technically behind almost every worth while country out there lacking flair and guile not because we can't produce such players but because we have the most broken youth system in Europe, I don't know if you've tried for an academy but often the tallest or most built youngsters are given priority hence why our country is full of big ball players. Unless you're the next Maradona or Gascoigne you won't get picked if you're one of the average sized or smaller kids.

No luck for us... (Uruguay)

We just had to get 2 Europeans... Just had to ! And World Cup champions at that... Oh well, at least the fun will start early. >.<

Lucky Argentina is lucky. Chile, not so much...

Do you think we have a shot against Switzerland?

I certainly hope so!

So-England seems to pass the next round even before it has started.

Why do you say so?

Uruguay don't pose much of a threat going by their latest performances. They have so much talent, however. They only need some teamwork improvements.

We're still gonna lose to them. England literally cannot pass along the ground in World Cups.

True. We don't pose much of a threat too lol. Good for Italy.

Group D - Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy

This is a tough draw for England! It is not going to be easy.

Saying that I am going to be enjoying England play it's opponents. As for France, if England had drawn those teams I would not feel like the World Cup would be starting until after the group stage! That is not a strong enough group for France, still could be intresting matches between the other teams.

Group G looks like it will provide some good games.

Group G Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

Managable drawl for Germany. When was the last time Portugal beat us? Can't even remember

Lol don't write Japan off they schooled Holland at their own technical game and have been on form, Ivory Coast are one of the hardest teams to deal with I can see them topping the group.
