I played not much but GT5 looks better than Forza 4... it is noticiable better when you have more than one car on the track... Forza 4 looks good only when you are in time trial or any mode with only one car in the track... more than one it shif LODs and get worst.

The Premium cars are better than any Forza 4 cars too by a good margin... there are mode details in GT5 cars and they are more accurate to real life too.

The lighting in GT5 blows away everything you saw in Froza 4 too.

Forza 4 have better enviropments and trees... that's all... the tracks are better and more accurate in GT5 too.

I keep hearing about lighting in GT, yet it looks so bland to. Especially in night driving, it looks like PS2 lighting. Perhaps lighting is subjective.

GT has may have more accurate cars and tracks, but that doesn't determine superior graphics.

If you see both games side by side, Forza has more stunning visuals. The smoother frame rate also helps.

I don't know the lighting in Forza looks like toys... artificial... maybe it is the color pallete... always I have the feeling to play a toy car made by rubber.

And I have the both games close here... it is a windows separating my room from my friend room (we live in the same house)... and GT5 looks better... the premium cars looks way better... just enviropment looks better on Forza 4 but the overall look is still better on GT5.

The framerate is only noticiable in two tracks after the patch 2.0 too... it is solid 60fps for 90% of the time... DF even did a comparision between 2.0 and 1.0.

BTW GT6 enviropment looks way better than GT5 too.

PS. Maybe you are just comparing some PS2 exported track in GT5 or PS2 exported cars.

Ethomaz keeps forgetting that Forza 4 visuals are consistent and the framerate is locked with no bad screen tearing.

Considering how much more powerful PS4 is, I'd expect GT7 to be the most stunning looking racing sim ever. It's going to be the crowning jewel of the series imo.

It is... after the 2.0 patch the most critical issues are Monza... there are other city race with issues too but everything else runs in solid in 60fps.

I always said Forza 4 have the performance better than GT5 but in visual terms it is no match to GT5 (unsless you choose tracks and cars from PS2).

Do you want to make a test?

Play GT5 in 720p.... it will be locked in 60fps and you will still have better visual than Forza 4... so the performance advantage for Forza 4 will be gone.

Forza 4 didn't look better than GT5... GT6 looks even better.

I think we already passed that because in graphic terms and driving phisics every reviewers agreed GT5 > Forza 4.

PS. And the guys using the stanrdar cars to show the low graphics of GT6 lol.

I'm guessing you didn't actually play much Forza 4 if at all.

As far as reviews go... Forza 4 > GT5 > GT6

I've played all the games in question, GT6 doesn't look like much of an improvment over GT5.

Reviews?? Metacritic review is a useless metric. If your looking for the best SIM, GT >forza, by a considerable margin.
