Sony’s revamped PlayStation Camera probably wasn’t at the top of your PlayStation 4 wishlist when you picked up the next generation console, but now that you've had a chance to spend some time with the system – and ogled The Playroom’s easy Trophy list – you may be coming around to the idea of snapping up the upgraded optical extra. There’s just one problem: it’s not particularly easy to find.

Much like the system itself, the enhanced EyeToy is selling out all over the UK, with many online retailers not sure when new units will arrive. Amazon.co.uk allows you to order now and promises to provide updates when it has fresh stock available, while Tesco is offering a similar service.

Fortunately, there are some units starting to trickle back into stores. Argos has stock available for pickup or home delivery, while the GAME website also has new supplies available now. I have one and had very little use for it, maybe the voice commands are nice, but they just aren't reliable

Face recognition is nice, but not really useful for me since it auto logs me in

And finally, what games use it?

I wonder if it outsold kinect in the uk.

Just in case anybody is interested in getting it, I dont recommend it. I bought it. For 60 bucks I have used it for about 2 minutes and that is it. There is literally almost no use for it at this point!

Not really worth it unless you have a kid that is like 4-5 years old.

My daughter loves Playroom, especially now with the Toy Maker app and uses it all the time, but me personally, I never use it.
