This. Gamecube only sold 5.02M in its second year after slashing the price by 33% at the begining of the year. Right now, wii u is traxk significantly behind.

wrong as usual. the wii is far more recent than gamecube and shows the current state of nintendo franchises.. it may not be 100%, but has relevancy to the subject.

Uh huh, what games did Wii have in its first year? It had Wii Sports which showed off the motion control, WiiU had Nintendoland to show off the gamepad, nobody was interested.

I think Nintendo's internal projections of 10 million unit by the end of the fiscal year is way off. They'll be lucky to hit 5-6.
