Can Wii U hit 10 million next year??

Hell naw! 108 25.29%

Probably not 110 25.76%

Maybe if they cut the pri... 87 20.37%

The N word makes me happy 118 27.63%

Total:423

-The Wii U will sell around 2 million in 2013 (despite being overtracked in Europe).

-It looks like the Wii U might just barely cross the 5 million mark this year, maybe less.

-The Wii U doesn't usually sell more the Vita and Vita can't manage to sell 5 million in a year.

Do you think sales will pick up 250% year on year? This hasn't happened with a console ever (using full years worth of data)

Can the Wii U sell another 5 million units next year?

Discuss and enjoy

Edit here's proof that Wii U isn't doing too hot http://www.businessinsider.com/xbox-one-beat-ps4-and-wii-u-in-black-friday-sales-2013-12

The main difference between this year and next year is... Next year will have system sellers for the wiiU vs this year didn't... We had New Super Mario Bros U and Super Mario 3d World... Apart from that, every other game were not system sellers...

Lego City Undercover, Pikmen 3, Wonderful101 are not system sellers... They do not have mass appeal and are niche games... WWHD is a remake which is also not a system seller cause everyone has played it already

Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8 and the rest of the line up are major system sellers so yea, I think it will do just fine

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If they drop the price to $199 sales will pick up, but that's about the only way.

yes and they don't need drop the price

Some people predicted it would hit 20 million this year! Hope they didn't have Nintendo stock!

Ignoring the fact that XB1 and PS4 will see an expanded audience and more core games (at least in late 2014).

So while the Wii U might produce more system sellers, it will also see increasing competition from others. So, I think you are way off and you will be sorely disappointed next year.

it's possible ... huge games next year like Smash and Mario Kart, and smaller ones that will have a combination effect. i wouldn't buy a Wii U for Bayonetta 2 for instance, but Bayo 2 + Yoshi and Donkey Kong is quite enticing, But .... eh might not lulz

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
