It may be that they need something solid to announce. They can't just go an announce "shipped" numbers, especially since they'd made such a big deal of the equivalent "sold" numbers in the US.
In addition, it's probably much more difficult to gather data from a whole bunch of countries, instead of just one (US). It is not therefore yet obvious that they are not sold out. Unless until they have feedback from every (major) retailer in the whole of Europe.
Let's be patient. The numbers will surely come to the front, be them bif or small, disappointing or triumphing.
