             Nintendo is going to win 2014, people.  Wii U  is going to do better than Vita, 3DS is going to do better than PS4 and PS3 and Wii/DS will most likely sell more than the PSP.

So far so good. I'm pretty sure they are.

WiiU largely evens out PSV

3DS handles PS3 and PS4 combined.

Wii & DS tackle PSP.

Then we yet need the holiday numbers where Nintendo is in beast mode as usual, I'm pretty sure it's a close win for Ninty, but a win nonetheless. Check this chart for details. (set from jan 1 2013 to dec 1 2013 and remove or add consoles to compare)

I think Nintendo has beaten them every year since the DS released worldwide in 2005.

And SONY probably since PS1 to PS2 years...

I doubt it because n64 + gbc would have beaten ps1 at least one year and gc plus gba might have beaten ps2 one year.

The GBC sold around 40 mil lifetime, due to an extremely short lifespan mind you, but nonetheless..

Well, the PS1 sold only just under 70m of it's 100m total during the 5th gen, so it basically depends on where goalposts are set .
