Forums - Gaming Discussion - 360/xbone dominates black friday sales according research firm InfoScout.

It sounds more plausible that they interviewed 3000 customers and checked 83000 receipts. Remember they also checked Walmart which stood for the big sales on BF accordning to their survey.

Wow, some of you guys aren't willing to give the XB1 ANY chance ...

Who knows.
We'll find out soon enough.

Of course not. There is a poll here where 51% of the people say Xbox One success makes them unhappy lol.

its like people forget the 360 is the best selling console here in the states, and the xbox is the biggest brand in the US.

Likewise, there are people who try to give the X1 every chance at every turn. At some point you have to just accept certain things.

What's so bad about that?  People supporting the PS4, Wii U and/or XB1 would seem like a good thing for gaming to me.  Relentlessly putting down any of them is destructive.  I will never understand actively and pervasively seeking out opportunities to belittle these consoles when we are supposed to want to the industry to flourish ...

Then I wouldn't only point out when it happens to the X1 because it happens all over these forums to all parties. If you want it to stop that's perfectly fine and I would love to see that as well but someone playing the victim card on behalf of their personal favorite console is being hypocritical. Finding positives is a good thing but when something is being blown out of proportion and made to seem like a bigger deal than it is, don't you think that's damaging as well in the long run? If someone is that desperate for good news then perhaps a more realistic viewpoint is needed instead of an overly optimistic one. That being said, I am impressed at how well the X1 is doing all things considered leading up to this.

"The survey was based on 3,000 people at Walmart and Target"

If the few places they visited got far more One supply than PS4 it could easily be skewed. You can't extrapolate to a win for somehow ALL of Black Friday. And in any case with both sold out, sales figures are no indication of demand either way.

edit: based on only 12 One purchases. No way this is statistically significant.

Didn't survey the number one games retailer in America, Gamestop.

Typical

PS: Not only that, but they surveyed the first 3,000 shoppers, according to their individual target report. What a poor research firm.

One day means nothing. PS4 is selling better than One, and in Europe most of all.  you will see previous week data from VGchartz in few days. I'm expecting PS4 to have sold 1.5-2M units in Europe only.
