A lot of people are throwing their entire catalogues at you, but by the sounds of it you would love Harvest Moon: A New Beginning and Bravely Default.

Make sure Resident Evil is your first game if horror is your favourite genre, it'll show off the 3DS's capabilities the best too.

RE:R  looks awesome But I've been hating the RE series as of late. Although I played the demo on 360 and it was pretty good! Looks worth it :D

Well right now I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and honestly it's the best game I've played in years. So that for sure.

It is considered the second best in the entire series (after Friends of Mineral Town), but is has a very slow beginning.

The first 2 covered the most important games, just a qick reminder: Don´t ignore the eShop, there are some terrific games on there.

Oh, and get Zelda: A link between worlds ! It shits from a high pedestal all over the DS games, it kicked Links Awakening from the spot of my favourite Handheld Zelda !

Yes, it is. But I suggest you to try Rune Factory 4 first. But A new beginning is a very good game
