Because feminine straight man in real life annoys me to no end. In my point of view a man should be brave, manly and have a presence, I'm not talking about physical features, a feminine looking man can have a very manly attitude and still be very attractive.

I guess men risking their lives on the front line or doing all the physical labour, being courteous and protective to your girlfriend, opening the door for the ladies I mean they are all archaic as you would put it. 

Women wants to put on make up, wear a very pretty dress, want to be complimented on their look, their hair or how to smell, they want pretty handbags. Men wants to drive a powerful car, they want to be complimented on their musculinity, they want to lead and have their voices heard. This is all inherent part of how we are to our specific gender. Whether you want to accept it or not, this is the norm. Men are attracted to feminity, women are attracted to musculinity.

I don't think you're sexist. Not at all. You haven't dehumanized either sex, so I just think your views are archaic. I do not believe those things, physical labour, courtesy, fighting on the front line, etc are exclusively male activities.

Yes, generally, women want to put on make up, wear the dress, be complimented on their looks etc, and men want to be masculine and have their voices heard. What I'm saying is that, as people, we can go beyond that. A man can want to wear make up, have nice hair, smell pretty etc and we should accept that. We're living in a world where the gender norms are falling apart and that's a good thing.

If it's stereotypes demolition time , I'm afraid I have to step in and tell you an uncomfortable truth: men ask girlfriends to make sandwiches because inside most men lurks a great cook that can't stoop to prepare ordinary food. Truth hurts.

About androgynous characters, maybe the problem is just that some Japanese animes, mangas and games overuse them, and if coupled with big heads, narrow shoulders and thin limbs it can result in a sickly or undernourished look that's quite natural to dislike. But I don't like overuse of macho clichés either, it reeks of insecurity.
