Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, is one of my and my mates favorite games, and one of the best rpgs of all time. A SNES game.

It has a memorable cast of characters, a splendid battle system, a great world to explore, a strong story with probably the most dramatic ending of any rpg, abilities in the field map!, great puzzles, enemies on screen, an airship but also a submarine, a casino, animal friends that you can grow and help you in battle, next to a battle system with four characters on screen and your animal buddy making it a total of 5!

And great music. Great graphics. The puzzles are great, some optional like "The most difficult puzzle in the world" (you'll get some very nice equipment if you crack that one).

And this game is funny!

A new game +

And the legendary Ancient Cave which is a game on its own.

This game is as comprehensive and total as a rpg can get.

Last run we gave it here was last winter. This game has hold up extremely well against time.

And amazingly this game was published in Europe as just Lufia, in the languages of the countries it was released in, so in the Netherlands the game was in Dutch in a big box with a booklet and a comic!

This game is the prequel to Lufia & the Fortress of Doom. Which got never released in PAL regions.

If you love rpgs, get a snes for this game!

Its sad to hear Neverland is dead now.

But we still have Lufia...

Damn :( I have such fond memories of playing Lufia when I was a kid.

Don't know them, but it always sucks when a game studio closes.
