Don't care about Microsoft. :)

erm....ok??

It's nice to see Wii U has some kind of presence on this chart. But I think the 3D World numbers might be abit disappointing. Still I have read else were that 3D Mario's do better when the system already has a lot more then 4 Million consoles out so I am thinking that it will have legs though

Nintendo Wii by generations...

1. Wii

2. Wii U

3. Wii O U

Predictions made by gamers concerning the current Nintendo line up of games.

Pikmen 3= Little Bump to nothing. (Got Little Bump)

Wind Waker HD= Won't sell anything (The explosion happened here and at one time 4 Wii U games was in the Amazon top 100)

Super Mario 3D World= Won't help at all looks cheap. (Currently the most sought after Wii U game and continuing the Wii U increase.)

Looks like the Xbox still managed to pull off a better launch than the PS4 despite having a higher price and all the backlash with used games and required internet connections.

After next week, I expect PS4 to double Xbone's numbers and then continue to pull further ahead. That European launch is going to double it, then Japan is going to be what keeps it climbing.

Will you be forced to admit that Sony reserved units this week to have the most stock possible for Black Friday if it becomes true??

why would they hold stock?  whats the point?  I see no advantage... none.

I explain then...

Suppose you have 1 million in stock, only for 2 weeks, being the last one BF week. If you split that in equal numbers you sell 500k one week and 500k the other one. Now, imagine Microsoft can put 500-600k units in NA for BF minimum. If you were Sony, would you risk losing BF sales or you prefer to sacrifice the first week, one that no one cares except us here, to have a complete million just for BF to trounce your adversary??? That's my point.

And i'm not saying sony will sell 1 million nor Xbox One will sell 500-600k, it was just examples...

I dont understand. The numbers sales for Ps4 is 90% down at games and hardware???

It is completely sold out in the US. Expect it to go up again in the US next week and massively up WW due to the EU launch.

If it doesnt I will be forced to assume CBOAT had the wrong console... yield issues!!!

what a dick he/she has turned out to be.

Not at all. Why would they hold stock?  whats the point?  I see no advantage... none.

I would think that hving at least some stock available in stores, on the busiest shopping day of the year, is absolutely an advantage.  Hardcore fans will search all over the place for a unit, but they're almost guaranteed to come eventually so they're less of a priority than the casual buyer who just happens to be at the mall on BF.

It's all about the game.

No doubt.   I give microsoft props for doing a worldwide launch to make it seem even to start but the reality is that once PS4 launches in other countries the Xbone is going to fall behind quickly.  I still don't think Xbone will catch the Wii U anytime soon, but PS4 might.  That all depends on how many Wii U's Nintendo moves this holiday because if they can get 1+ million out by christmas then the PS4 won't catch up anytime soon either.

Damn, so looking at Cod: Ghosts and Ass Creed: Black flag not even charting the top 80 on Wii U. Seems like there is a lot of reasoning behind third parties not supporting the platform, the numbers.

I am thinking the Bone will have really low numbers for week 2 in N. America as I have gone to several cities and not found a bone in stock anywhere. I plan to keep this up for every visit to a store that sells consoles out of curiosity until they seem to be consistantly in stock.

Naturally. Think about this how many people around here said they were going to get a Wii U for third party games?? (That does not mean that third party games get ignored really some people do buy them for the Wii U. Myself included. I have 7 games.. well 9 if you include dload only and 6 of them are third party games)  And I believe both AC4 and COD was in the top 50 for Wii U at one point. So they show up. They just don't stay there for long.

The only company that supports Wii U is Ubisoft and that's because Just Dance sold over 32 million copies on the 1st Wii and they need to keep a good relationship with nintendo to keep that gravy train rolling.  Sega is also getting closer in my opinion to becoming exclusive to Nintendo.  I'm not sure when it will happen but one day it will.  After playing Madden and FIfa on Wii U, I would never buy an EA game on a Nintendo again.  Total trash, and it's easy for them to blame the system when in reality it was the garbage ports that no one wanted.     I'm very interested to see what EA does with the Star Wars games in terms of Wii U because Disney was already mad at them for trashing Nintendo.

In my long experience on these forums and GAF, the buying patterns of forum goers do not reflect the public as a whole at all. Forum goers tend to be gaming enthusiasts that are not remotely like the average gamer. It is tradition for vgc Nintendo gamers to hate anything not Nintendo so yah what you say about a lot of posters posts concerning their gaming habits is true for this forum and this forum alone. Only a small biased sample here.
