Y'all need to read the OP before spouting off about "secret sauce".

The title makes it sound like "secret sauce".

It would be something the developers are unlocking, not Microsoft.

oh no!
here come the sony fanboys saying this is bull.
Typical fanboys on here and pretty much on every site.
The internet is full of them.

The OP itself says that.

"It's not like they would open up new hardware or anything - there's nothing new in there," Török cautioned.

He is talking about optimizations made in consoles compared to the launch... it will happen for every machine.

The best part of the interview is when he said that won't hold back PS4 to match Xbone... they will fully use the PS4.

I was not talking about a second GPU inside. Lol whoever still believes that is just out of their mind.

Microsoft is a software corporation. The xbox one will get the best optimizations over the years. Games will look amazing on both consoles despite the ps4 having better hardware. The 50% stronger hardware on ps4 is just on paper when we compare both. Only exclusve games will look good.

I'm going to quote you on that and get back to you in a few years.

Surprise! A console company is looking for new ways to improve performance and get greater-looking games! I'm sure MS is alone in doing this.

They could probably release some those 10% yes. Like 3-5%. But the snap feature would always need some GPU power.

But the GPU is not the problem. The 68BG/sec main bandwidth is.

I can't wait for the unlock to come out

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Oh god not this again

Like it matters, the One is perfect just the way it is. Of course over time MS is gonna perfect the optimization process. The games are gonna run better and look better as well. No sauce, just better optimization.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

It does kind of seem that way but then you read the article and realize it isn't that at all. I guess I just didn't realize there were so many people that don't read the OP...it's like 75% of them don't! o_0
