Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light
Dragon Quest V: Hand of Heaveny Bride
Mario e Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Played all of them to the end, all are great.

Devil Survivor Overclocked is my favorite one.
It has voice acting, more demons and an extra day on 3ds compared to ds. There's a sequel on the DS too, but that's supposedly getting an update for 3ds too, that keeps getting delayed.
Twewy, Fire Emblem and dragon quest V are the other ones I really like.
Tales of the abyss is pretty good too. But the undub with voiced skits is better on ps2 IMO.
SMT 4 is amazing! Also get Tales of the Abyss!

First thing that pops into my head is Radiant Historia. Such a great game
Also Dragon Quest IX is very good
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
It's time for Bravely Default, coming soon on 3DS
Fire Emblem Awakening is my favorite 3DS game, and basically my favorite game from the last 5 years I'd highly recommend it.
Beyond that on the 3DS I can only personally recommend Mario & Luigi Dream Team (if you like the Mario & Luigi RPGs it's a blast) and Shin Megami Tensei IV as ones I've played that are worth the time/money.
On the DS I would recommend Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, FF Tactics A2, DQ IV, V, VI, IX (although IX is kinda a detour for the series so you may not like it). I actually enjoyed FF XII Revenant Wings but it's not the deepest game, Both Mario & Luigi RPGs on the DS are great fun. Unless you are a big fan of the Pokemon Series I actually wouldn't recommend the DS era Pokemons once you've played X/Y, going back will hurt especially without nostalgia glasses (although if you have fond memories of Gen 2 the HeartGold/SoulSilver remakes were amazing fun).

How is the co-op in Heroes of Ruin?
OMG, thanks to think-man for the thread and F0X for the suggestion of TWEWY. I had forgotten about this game but you reminded me. I had been looking for it for so long but could never find it. today I went on EBs website and saw that it was at my local EB preowned for $22, needless to say I rushed my ass down their immediately and am now the proud owner of possibly the most original JRPG of the 7th gen. cant wait to start playing =D

Excellent. It's a very addicting and challenging game, with a battle system that is sometimes difficult to wrap one's head around.
Stick with it and you'll be treated to a unique, twist-filled plot. And some excellent post-game content.

But, these are my favorites (that you don't already have): |
This! Especially Fire Emblem Awakening best game I've played this year so far. I say so far but that probably won't change with only 5 or 6 weeks left in the year.
