this game sounds so amazing, i cant wait until this comes out over here. The microtransactions sound needlessly tacked on, but thankfully it seems as though they do not impact gameplay at all.

Really my type of thing, so i would buy anyway. Good to know about positive reviews.



I'm conflicted about this game.
I like the 2D backgrounds with 3D characters formula (with 3D battles). The game looks gorgeous, but the combat system did not resonate with me (the whole juggling of turns with the defend command). The difficulty seems quite up there aswell. I have to play some more of the demo, but while i could see quality in the game i also saw myself getting quite bored. It seems to be one of those games you must really delve into the mechanics to work around.

The story didnt look particularly interesting aswell. But hey... demo's arent representative of story quality.



Great to see both reviews hammer it for the microtransactions. Hopefully this isn't something Square are going to persist with.

Aside from that though looks like the classic we were all hoping it was. Bring it onnnn!
