I will probably get one soon

You weren't kidding Pezus. This stuff comes naturally to you.
OT: Pretty amazing and underrated system. Even better for bozos like me who were too "hardcore" during last gen to ignore the Wii, as Wii U is backwards compatible and provides the biggest library of games to play from winner of last gen and best of what upcoming gen has to offer at the moment.
Oh and i'll save my money by not buying PSBone at the moment and revel in mediocre launch titles. There is always right time to jump into an investment. This isn't it for 8GIG twins.
Everybody knows that it has the vastly superior game lineup both for this year and the next. It will be a dream made reality for people looking for the best game experience this gen. However hype usually sells more than quality.

These things are heavily based on demographics though.
If you like action games, FPS, sports, racing sims, Western RPGs, then I doubt the Wii U has the "superior game lineup" for next year.
Bayo 2 and X alone don't counter Witcher 3, Destiny, Uncharted IV, Thief, inFamous, Titanfall, Driveclub, Madden NFL, NBA 2K, NHL, FIFA, etc.
If you like platformers, Nintendo IP, and party/casual games then yes, Wii U probably by a good amount.

Yes, but they flip flopped.

Because games are going to stop releasing on Wii U after this holiday, right?

It's quite possible Wii U will lose another round of major third party franchises (ie: no Assassin's Creed next year or no more Arkham) if sales this holiday aren't great.

I never understood this notion, are the N64 and Atari Jaguar twins now?

Yeah Nintendo will most likely have to carry it like the do with the 3DS. Indies will need to fill the gaps. Can't see any major multiplats coming to Wii U next year after Watch Dogs.
