kupomogli said: Unless you want upscaled ports on the Xbox One and PS4 and not looking to games that come out early next year, then they're right, the Wii U is the best console to buy this holiday season, but early next year some really good looking third and first party games come out for the PS4, good looking third party for Xbox One, so I'd also say save your money until those release. |
Considering that it's $100-200 cheaper, comes with one if not two pack in games (which the other consoles do not) no matter which version you choose, is the only next gen system to offer both backwards compatibility AND free online play, has a ton of eShop games coming as well as the Virtual Console games, yeah, I'd say it's pretty much the best value for your money.
And since we're talking about games coming next year, Wii U's 2014 is already looking pretty bright, with the likes of DKCR2, Bayonetta 2, Watch_Dogs, Lego The Hobbit, Mario Kart 8, X, Shin Megami Tensai x Fire Emblem, Smash Bros., Yarn Yoshi, and a whole slew more that will hopefully include a Dec. release of Zelda U, I'd say Wii U will shape up just fine, and continue to have the best value for the money for some time.
