Vita doubled wii-u last week in sales, vita will kep gaining steam, it wll be fine.

That's good to hear, I would like to get one one day. Sort of wish they would go the SD card route, much more simplar.

Not really, the Wii U 2014 line up is way better than PS4/X1's imo and also Nintendo tends to announce at least one game at E3 and release it for holiday season that year.  This year I'm guessing its Zelda U or Miyamoto's new IP or both.

Well, seems like most irrational people actually thought that PS4 and Xbone was gonna come out the starting-line swinging with 10/10 exclusives and far superior gameplay than 7th gen or WiiU, but now they realize that didn't happen they have to accept that right now WiiU is the better purchase.
