There was a big ongoing meltdown in brazil foruns, 100% on the internet. unlike many events people are listing here, that happened before internet was popular.


3DS turn around before FF13?

and no there weren't meltdowns. Some people were surprised but no meltdowns.

Yeah it had its defenders, but if you went to any MS centric site even old members (so definite XBox fans and not just new account trolls) were mad and saying they getting a PS4.

It was enough for MS to do a 180 even after defending the DRM so badly.

It's league of legends.

It was a quite positive meltdown in the end, and i know defenders were a minority. Still, that was funny.

Easily FF XIII on Xbox 360. The internet just stopped for an hour.

And GTA IV on Xbox 360 was also a pretty big deal.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Another small controlled meltdown was when Fire Pro Wrestling was revealed for XBL. Thats a tight community, rightfully made mad when their newest game was a crappy avatar game.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Here are few Major mealtdowns.

1. FFXIII to 360 - This still stings
2. DMC 4 multiplat - SONY fans lowest moment.
3. CAPCOM announcing or not announcing anything for Wii - The most whinny nintendo fans have EVER been. Ask CAPCOM Section was a nightmare during this time.
4. EA rumored to be responsible for no X game chat on PS3

Xbox DRM= you just have to replay again this last E3 to notice what I'm talking about. The price point of ps4 was just the final blow regardless of who win the games department. This was the first time a console that show the most games, was also the most hated at the same time.
