At that point I thought ps brand was over (as in its identity was gone for good).

turns out the entire industry flipped this gen though and most of those Japanese developed PS exclusives now have a minor push when selling a console. But I can totally see why people were flipping out over it early in the gen

The final fantasy one, as many ppl already mentioned.

Wii as well. when the console was revealed and the specs and controller were known, pplthought nintendo had lost it. When it began outselling the much more powerful ps360, hardcore gamers spent the next couple of years calling it a fad, a console not for real gamers and all other kinds of dumb shit to downplay its success.

There was the by2 one. That one uncharted review.

Wasnt around for the others, like rrod.
