ya we dont spend enough time with each other so lets play games with each other.

sry wii u winter is coming but i would rather play real sports and not hyper sensitive golf. in the summer.

god when will they stop trying to attracts a younger audience dont they know all the kids are going to cod / battle field..

and i already have a wii sports for my wii im not re buying it to playing random people online i enjoy it more when im facing friends/ family which i can build actul strong relation ships and start frieldley rivalrys .

I can't hear the commercial as I have no speakers. But then again given the respones I'm glad that I don't own speakers.

If your friend are at you house you can still play with them.. now in hd (remember all those HD people) and with motion+ (much more real)

And you can even play your friends on friend list.. like mariokart wii..

Whoever is coming up with these commercial needs to be replaced.

I think it does get to a audience, which is not formed by none of us, from vgc foruns. If they can get a 10% attach rate from the casuals that bought wii, that would be great already.

ik i've always played with friends with my wii and they all had wii's not hating its just no one has a wii u that i know and i dont enjoy playing systems when i have no one to play with...

and i dont really like making online friends on "game systems" cause i play with them once and never talk to them again haha... and i also like nhl games and lots of ps exlusives which is not supported.

but when it comes down to it i dislike the motion control and the wii controller i really want to get one but i dont think i will like it for very long... i love mario partys, mario karts , zelda's..i wish nintendo would go back to the game cub or the n64 controller and stop trying to get the child audience... if i had the money and time i think i would get a wii u over an xbox one just because there are so many different games on the wii u then there would be on the xbox one but the thing is a ps4 is all i have the time / money for.

First.. the wii-u is a new console, who like x-bob 360 came before the other two.. (sold a litle more than wii-u first year but not much) meaning be sure wii-u will pick up now

And remember to see the special announcement on December 7th  where i'm pretty sure nintendo will show us why they still holds on to 9 mill. sold wii-u's before april and why iwata says, wii-u will reach wii numbers from spring 2014.

And you do know that nintendo had made a pro controller, a super nice game pad that look a lot like the wavebird for Gamecube (2 analog and wireless) and games like bawl and mariokart and others can be played "oldshool".. and if you don't look at the upad it "feels" like a normal controller :)

I see how that this commercial is more directed towards the casuals, but I wish somewhere/somehow they'd mention the larger catalog of games as a selling point... Right now they have a headstart on the PS4/Xbox One when it comes to games. Games that can only be experienced on the Wii U...

Another good advert, as someone above has mentioned it isn't aimed at us and I think these pitch ads will be reasonably successful at shifting units.
