Come on man, yeah Sony seems to be back on track but to predict a 200-250 million lifetime sales prediction at this point is just... everything apart realistic.

Still if it wasn't for Sony, Microsoft would be adding a lot of horrible features to their console with online and games. Anyway the savior is back, let the amazing games come. The PS4 shouldn't have a problem cracking the 200 million barrier and even coming close to 250 million. Hopefully it kickstarts home consoles in Japan again, the gaming there seems to be lacking. It's good to finally get to the light at the end of the tunnel, the PS3 had so much hate last gen. |
It was a good post until the bolded preidtion. I mean 200M+ is just extremly unrealistic. Thats some zero999 type of prediction there :p

Its annoying reading this line over and over again in these threads. 1, Nintendo doesn't need 'saving' and 2, a new console for 2014 is the dumbest fucking move you can make.

i predict 220million in 6 years.
I went on record saying that the PS4 wins easily in the US but I'm not so sure anymore. It all depends on if MS can dupe the casual market like Nintendo did last generation. If they do, Xbox wins the US. If not? I can see PS4 winning.
I also think MS is going to have to drop that price quickly. Launch numbers don't speak for the general public and at $500.00, it's not going to be able to keep up with PS4.
