Catherine was made by P Studio. It was thought to be their way of familiarising themselves with the hardware (PS3/360) to prepare them for development of Persona 5.

I think a lot of fans are forgetting that Persona 4 was also released at the tail end of the PS2 life cycle and the PS3 was already available world wide.

And don't forget Sony released PS4 now thinking about the west market above all.

Clearly. There was never any reason to expect Persona 5 to be on PS4. Atlus is not Square-Enix. Even with Sega's help, I doubt their methods will change dramatically. In fact, if anything can be taken away from this announcement event, I think it's that Sega will help Atlus produce a greater quantity of games, not more expensive games.

It really do like though how Playstation systems keep games coming for the older system.....it's why I will never buy another Xbox..look at how little 360 and especially Xbox got the last year of it's life? Xbox is too front loaded, then things start drying up.

No!!! I was hoping this would be released for the 360 as well.

Looks like I might have to see about picking up a used PS3 now. I've seen the slim models for pretty cheap now that the SS models are out. I guess I'll pick up one of those. I was thinking about picking up a used Vita (OLED model) as they're cheaper now that the new models have released, but I guess that's out now. P5>Vita

Disappointed it's not coming day 1 for Vita, though I think it's just a matter of time, considering the sales of P4G and the fact taht the main target is Japan and Japan loves its handhelds. I'm gonna wait for the Vita version.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

Do you all think they will be adding remote play to Persona 5 so we can play on the Vita as well? Im sitting at Bestbuy's checkout to get the vita but it wasnt announced for it :(

I still want Tearaway, P3, and P4 for it though. P4 is one of my all time favs and i never played P3.

lol i cant beliee a lot of people are forgetting that fact. It should of been no surprise really.

 

@OP, Anyways i'll be captain obvious and point out that there are 5 chairs in the trailer so probably the game will have 5 main characters. lol they really are playing out the number 5.
