No, 3D World is definitely impossible (3D Mario on Wii didn't even reach this gen's top 10). The only one that remotely has a chance is Mario Kart, and that is only if WiiU can sell 20m or more.

Like 3D Land on 3DS, 3D World isn't your typical 3D Mario game.  It's in 3D but plays like a 2D Mario game.  It's really accessible and inviting.  We were playing four player a few hours ago and everyone loved it.  Mario games like Galaxy, Sunshine, and 64 are intimidating.  3D World and 3D Land aren't intimidating.

I kinda see 3D Land/World as true sequels to NSMB DS/Wii. NSMB2/U just seem too similar to the previous entries.

Super Mario 3D Land has sold around 8.7 millions on the 3DS while it was doing bad. We haven't see that game in the top most sold games since a few while ago.
Super Mario 3D World is better rated, more beautiful and carefully designed for a powerful console like the Wii U.
New Super Mario Bros U has sold 2.1 millions alone, and it wasn't as well received as SM3DW.
To say right now that it will flop it is nonsense with no facts whatsoever.

I agree with Mario Kart and Smash Bros. Those two can easily make it as long as it maintains and/or builds upon its fan base.

Lol at those thinking wii u will sell 30 million or less lifetime. LOL

Simple math really. Assuming it sells only 5 million a year for the next 6 years will ensure 30 million. Anyway it will have the best software by far like the wii did and win the gen. You heard it here first guys.

Unlikely due to annual releases like COD, and Battlefield (frequent). 

I think they will all sell under 10m, with new super mario world and falling well below that at 3-4m probably. Mario Kart has the best chance and will probably achieve a ridiculous attachment rate but still...

I admire the people at Nintendo such as Miyamoto, Iwata and Aonuma but when it comes to Reggie, I just hate him. He is way too arrogant for his own good after the success of the Wii. Why can't he be more modest like Iwata...

Uhm. How is that funny?

It hasn't even sold 2m this year. No way is it doing 5m (that's 3.3m in 1.5months)

Bolded is outrageous and you probably know it.

Best software is always subjective. If you care nothing for run-and-gun games or WRPGs, there goes most of what would really set PS360's library over the top.
