Prices for some games on the PS4 PSN store have been revealed!

Call of Duty Ghosts £54.99

Battlefield, Need for Speed, Fifa- £62.99

Why is this infuriating?

1. SCEE has been actively pushing Digital downloads, with Matching RRP or reducing it on PS3 (Last of US £39.99) (Tearaway £20/$40) and Day 1 Digital and 

2. Prices In the US are the same Physical or Digital $60. 

3. £39.99/$60 has been the de-facto RRP for PS3 games for the past 3-4years, now US PS4 prices are exactly the same wheras UK prices have shot-up to £49.99.

4. First party titles are higher than RRP, The RRP for PS4 games are £49.99. I can understand 3rd parties (EA) being short sited when it comes to digital pricing we have seen very recently Battlefield, Fifa, Need for speed, Tiger Woods at £59.99 on PS3! This is inexcusable for First party games which have had RRP parity.

5. Remote play is significantly less appealing, with Digital titles switching in and out between games on remote play is easy, but with Discs it is much less of a killer app for switching between games.

Are you going to go all digital this gen?

Are the prices similar to Xbox One prices? (Someone with one please check?)

EA and other publishers need to sort that shit out. Who on earth is going to buy that over a retail disc.. Not only is it considerably cheaper to buy the retail version but, being an physical item, also has the benefit of having an actual resale value. >_<

Xbox One digital downloads are just as pricey as the PS4's. It's just greedy. £55 a game, the fuck are they on?! EA is just notorious for this. I saw retail games for £55 to £60 in Game as well. I hope this is just for the launches and games go back to £40 each again.

I staying physical for most games except indies this generation

Those prices are horrible, but once again EA takes the cake of douchebaggery, how can you price a game that comes out literally every year with an updated roster and only slight improvements at 62,99 £??? Also why are EA games cheaper on Xbox? Is that part of the MS deal? Do they get a bigger cut?

Still a huge rip off. Digital games shouldn't be £50-£55 each. They shouldn't even £30 each if digital. Tearaway on Vita got the right idea at £20 for the game. 

Sony stop being crap...

These prices are just rubbish, but if nobody buys them, the price will surely drop?

And the actual retail prices going up by £10 really sucks. I had been hoping for £45 at worst, but now I'm expecting £50. Which sucks. Xbox One games are £45, so surely Sony won't keep their games higher than that for long

I don't understand SCEE! They were pushing Digital much more than Microsoft were. Now they done fucked up again! I was already luke-warm about next gen, now SCEE just chucked a truckload of Ice into my Tub, bastards..
