Typically consoles have some issues when they first launch. But Microsoft should be fixing all the possible problems. Not a big deal.

Yeah.. I'm going to take a wild guess at that being quite a widespread thing, the exact same sound and problem suggests a design fault effecting batches the same way ps4's fault is.

What is it with Xboxes and disc drives? Every single Xbox gen had problems with the optical drive. How can they repeat the same mistake in 3 generations?

Hi has anyones xbox one hung at 99% install then que... Ifso know a fix please..  apart from resetting whole console waited painfully while it installed (cant believe how slow installs are) How it is is I installed and played fifa fine installed n played forza fine installed n played ryse and deadrising n fine then installed need for speed fine youtube fine bluray app then install battlefield n now for past two days says 99%queud wtf and now I cant delete it uninstall it or resume it....  I also cannot install anything else...  after its been sitting I tried another disc based game already installed and works fine...  then last resort tried installing a few other apps to see if thatbudges. It like music skype and some others now they all hung at 93 - 96% installed.... Shop I got it at says bring it in n they replace it with standard edition.  mine is day one not sure if there any difference...  I tried google search n cant seem to find anything n been too bisy to call microsoft though will do hopefully over weekend.  thanks in advance for any help...  appologies for message just typing it on sphone
