All I know is John Snow works for Polygon.
Polygon is an awful site and Arthur Gies is an insufferable c**t.
No more needs to be said really.

Is that the only thing you have seen in those whole article? Talk about selective awareness! |
Thats what started this whole kerfluffle. Nobody was rallying against polygon this hard until the TLOU review. If there was bias prior to that it wasn't a major issue until TLOU. Had polygon fallen in line and given it a 10 along with everyone else we probably wouldn't be discussing this now.
I'm so sick and tired of the paranoia of sony fanboys. Everybody is either bias or paid off. Its getting ridiculous.
The more attention people give them the more successful they becomes. Negative marketing is also "good marketing" if you can control it properly. Just neglect it.
Mr Khan said: Pfft. So one media site might have an anti-Sony slant. Spend a year as a Nintendo fan, then come back and talk. |
This is true. But i don't think Nintendo suffers from it in the end, because their games always get reviewed very well.

Is it impossible for you to make a point without constantly calling everyone a Sony fanboy? I find it ironice that you're talking about paranoia, since you seem to see 'the enemy' everywhere!
Polygon has been called out on it's bias ever since they accepted the 700000 dollar funding from Microsoft. The Last of Us review just got more attention because of how painfully obvious it was.

I wouldn't be suprised if the constant ranting about the WiiU console had an impact on HW sales.
It seems that anyone that doesnt give Sony games a score inline with what they want are the worst Gaming Journalists.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Of course it did. Same thing happened with the Vita. When the consoles struggled they pounced and whatever negative spin they had at the time (justified or not) continues to stick and linger. I'm not saying Ninty and Sony didn't have any faults in their strategy but a lot of gamers are easily swayed by the gaming media.
