Good news, bad that I don't have a PS3 anymore.

I don't mind Persona Q. If it's a game designed from the grounds up for 3DS like this one (since it's just a reskin of EO), it's fine. Obviously it's fine only as long as we get the main game on Vita. The fact that P5 is released on PS3 makes me 100% sure that there will be P5 Golden on Vita. In fact I'm more certain about that than about us ever getting Persona 3 Golden (I want that game sooooo much!!).

All in all, it's a good event. I think everyone should be satisfied.

There's no problem with skipping an entry (especially a spin-off) when you don't have the system it's on, or don't plan on getting the system it's on. I skipped the PSP with few regrets, despite it having some of the few decent Square-Enix games of the past five years.

Now, when the mass boycotts, petitions, and port begging come into play, that's annoying. Deal with it. These things happen all the time.

I don't see the need to be worried about Persona Q, since its probably not part of the canon. Any Persona fan would know the current situation with the P3 hero.

Some people on N4G thinks I'm trolling when I said Persona Q is a spin-off. lol! You think they would remember the story.

Even as a 3DS owner I'm irritated by the platform choice, so I understand their frustration. I have no problem with expanding a series to other platforms, but Atlus couldn't have done it in a worse way by making it exclusive to the 3DS and basing it on two Playstation exclusive games. Playstation fans are denied the game on their platform and Nintendo fans will be lost in the story and feel no pre-existing attachment to the characters, especially if it's mostly just fan service. It just seems like a poor and rushed business decision. Spin-off games may still be important, especially with a series like Persona where you get so attached to the characters. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to miss out on Persona 4 Arena. 

Still, you won't see any dramatic boycotts from me. Criticise and move on.

LOL, it's the job of Sony to sell PS4, not the job of Atlus. They are a small company that have to work hard to make their profit. So they release for already proven platforms. Also, judging by your post, I don't think you really care for Atlus or Persona, only for PS4 being successful.
