Sub 20 at times? What kind of joke is this. Let's hope this is just bad optimization on Cryteks part...

No joke. Just check Crysis 2&3 framerates on PS360, Crytek makes great looking games and when the engine is under too much presure they are like fuck it, you can still see that the game is beautiful in 16fps.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Seems like no one told them you can't just upgrade a console like a PC xD

The issues with this game were pointed out months ago but some people just didn't want to hear it. They insisted that either no such issues existed and it was just fanboy hate, that whatever glaring problems did exist would be fixed before launch, and that regardless of what anyone else said they just knew that Ryse was going to be a big deal. One tech analysis and a 61 Metacritic average later I hope some people learned their lesson. Not just from this game either. From the launch lineups of both consoles. The highest scoring game (currently) is a cheap or free download-only indie twin-stick arcade shooter that only has 5 levels. Killzone. Dead Rising. Ryse. Knack. Forza. Killer Instinct. All the hype surrounding those games didn't help them to not get critically beaten, some very badly, by a kind of game that "doesn't matter".

Again, @ethomaz sees issues where there is none.

The frame rate fluctuate between 30 and 24, it never affects the experience. It has a very nice cinematic look and feel, no alising what so ever.

Please, @ethomaz post the full article here, and change the title.

the lowest drop i seen on the video was to 16FPS.

And suddenly, all those XO fanboys are quiet.

I wish Selnor wasn't banned, it's no fun without him.

I wondered where he went.... As absurd as his threads were, they were amusing

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I agree with you.

But one aspect in which the PS4 didn't disappoint is in the graphical area. Resogun and Killzone are still as pretty as they were before and have even surpassed our expectations.

Dead rising, Ryse and even Forza (compared to E3 demo) however did all disappoint in the graphics department.

Beautiful game that runs like that isn't impressive in the least.

You know, I can make Skyrim look almost photorealistic with lush grass and realistic textures and running ENBs to give greater lighting, etc... No big deal if if makes the game run at 16fps.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
