padib - I think that's a great idea. That's typically the way I handle people in the real world, although I haven't tried it on here. I guess it's really something that we should actively do to try and improve the community by making people actually think about the reasons for their fanaticism.
Munkeh111 - I knew with the launch that this would be a difficult time, with everyone defending their ideologies as best they can. I think you're suggestion would be smart. Let this all cool off, but the new sales and trends to look at are going to be too hard to try and not discuss. I'll just have to keep it to co-workers/friends for now I guess.
ganoncrotch - You're suggesting take a break to actually play games, and not argue about them?? Absurd!! That actually sounds great as it will allow me to catch up on a rather large back catalog of games..
JoeTheBro - The mega threads are pretty darn huge! I guess it'll be time to take a look once I take a bit of break from here. I would much rather like to see the bashing threads of WiiU and Vita be turned into an analytic discussion but there's always just too much doom and gloom.
gergroy - Hmm.. I do remember some particularly bad times here, but mostly related around events, not dates. What was going on around the time you joined? Might help me remember what would have caused it to be pretty bad back then.
Jizz_Beard_thePirate and DerpSandwich - That's what I've always loved about coming here, and seeing other forums, we still seem like a very great forum. I am just worried that we would start moving in that direction. That would be terrible because its impossible to actually go into IGN's forums and I haven't even looked at Game Trailers or the like anymore.
