i though it was just me with this problem i also have those white lines they only appear when my tv is in 480p but when i switch to 480i the lines disappear its weird.

Could be your TV getting ready to die ...happen to my 25inch Sharpe from too much gameing . First the white line then the fuzzy ness next sudden black screens...finally stop working !!! But I had the TV for 10years tho.....
