Forums - Sony Discussion - Tearaway Review - IGN

"Tearaway is a joy. Whether it was a riding a pig towards the sunset or playing basketball with a super-powered accordion, it never failed to make me smile. It sincerely believes that imagination really is the most important faculty, and in turn, succeeded in transporting me back to a time when I built strange worlds equipped with nothing but crayons and card. It does this by using every aspect of the Vita, crafting an experience that I can’t imagine being realised elsewhere. It might be short, but it’s very special. Please come back soon, Iota."

Score is a 9.3

Playstation Lifestyle has given it a 9 as well

9.15 rounds up to 9.2. Tearaway metacritic score is now > Zelda metacritic score.  Won't last for long, but it's a small temporary win for the Vita owners.

The only Vita or indeed Sony game I've ever been interested in.

And I'll never get to play it because it's on a Vita. It's basically a $250 game.

Oh noes, not looking good for me.

Count it that way LoZ was a 100 on metacritic :P

OT: Looks like it'll be a high scoring game that nobody buys unfortunately. Where is the advertisment for the game? Europe bundled and US nothing?

Game only costs $30 to boot and I bet most Vita owners won't even buy it.

Starting at $30? Damn why isn't this game on the pre order top 40 list? High rating game, i see a 90 on Metacritic

If it were paper mario it would sell like crazy even on the vita.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

86 metacritic, figures MM retains its title as a high quality software producing studio. Good for them, hopefully the game sells well.
