This is the reason why I'm not religious. I don't bash anybody's beliefs, but I simple think religion just dividing us all. Without religion there would probably be world peace. Why don't those extremists just spend their day having fun or hanging out with friends instead of dedicating it to violence because of beliefs? Goddamn this world...

Pretty much all religions have had a history of war, death, killings, murders, discrimination and hate. etc'.
It's just taking some religions longer than others to progress to a more peaceful state.

A *really* good movie that portrays homosexuality and religion is "Prayers for Bobby" with Sigourney Weaver in it, not a bad movie.
It shows that even today what kind of a devistating effect religion can have on an entire family, even the "nicer" religions such as Christianity.

By leave them alone I mean don't call their prophet a pedophile and all that. 

+ 1. People have being doing atrocious things when religion is not a concern too. The soviet communist weren't too religious according to my understanding. 

Every time anyone speaks badly of Mohammed riots start and people die. I know freedom of speech and all, but yeah when it risks the lives of innocents screw freedom of speech. Jesus gets made fun of all the damn time no one dies over that. Same goes for Moses. 

By speaking badly I mean the claims of him being a pedophile and gay or whatever. Saying that he's wrong or that he's a murderer doesn't seem to get Muslims as upset so that's fine I guess.

The Soviets basically made a religion out of commjunism.  They required a paranoid level of security and secrecy, estaablished a deification of stalin,, etc etc etc.

It's realky just another religion in a different form.
