Most of these gifs are horrible in quality. The compression of gif sucks naturally so to have a good looking gif at a large resolution the size would have to be massive. The one above me is like the first proper quality gif in this thread that shows properly what the game looks like(154MB).
It's a shame that webp isn't more utilised. That way, when recording and converting these clips into moving image formats, the compression is much better and as such less detail is lost. That way you can get better quality at same size or same quality at better size
