Forums - Gaming Discussion - Most photorealistic game ever?

I have to say Driveclub to be honest, however I could be wrong but out of all the games that try to look realistic Driveclub is the most convincing, hell sometimes I forget its even gameplay. If you guys don't agree please show me pics of games that look more photorealistic.

It's getting close... damn I can't wait to see GT PS4.

Yeah good call, DriveClub is really good looking. GT7 or GT8 if we will get it on PS4 could be really close to photorealism.
I've got to say that NBA 2K14 for PS4 has really stunning character models, also great animations, just lip movement and facial expresions sometime break the immersion, also can't wait to see MLB 14 The Show on PS4 next year.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I was really hoping Sony would show some VR tech with Driveclub on the lates spike tv event, oh well maybe E3

Regarding that, here's a quote from the game director.

"One of the limiting factors is that traditional televisions don’t fill your peripheral vision, and in a real car it’s your peripheral vision that gives you a much better sensation of speed. Equally, this wider view gives you the ability to look further ahead or into an upcoming corner. We are however actively working on solving this challenge and are confident it’s something we can improve to bring the game ever closer to real life."

Starting to think the VR will be revealed at CES which is right before Driveclub is released.

I am sorry but looking at those gifs... far from photorealistic. Never seen the inside of a car like that.

Great, thanks for the info Daisuke72.

Modded Crysis.

I would say Killzone Shadow Fall. No fanboyism here! There were seriously parts that looked near photorealistic to me, and keep in mind my PC maxes out BF4, Crysis 1-3, and Metro: LL in 1080p at 60 FPS.
