Pretty bad, however Sony always has a weak launch line-up, things really start to pick up after the first few months, expect Uncharted in November 2014. It'll only be uphill from there. They have all of the third parties and third party games seem to be superior on PS4 at the moment.

I don't mean to take anything away from the competition but even with the PS4 falling short of expectations, it's still setting launch records even with a poor launch line up and mass hysteria over the .04% failure rate. Yes it is only a .04% failure rate. I shouldn't say only however because .04% of 1 million is still 40,000 failed units....

Thats how i see this thread going to end lol, honestly its a good launch. Too many shooters but since they are multiplat and one exclusive its fine. Knack is a smart move for the targeted audience.

Overall All launches lack that Spark AAA title but ps4 launch is amazing, even if software reviews dont show it

Doesn't matter if you're a Sony fan or not.  Shitty launch line up is a shitty launch line up.  Same with the Xbox One line up.  Most Nintendo fans only like Nintendo  games or Nintendo exclusives, and in my opinion they're the most biased of all the fanbases, so I'd see Nintendo fans rating it less than Microsoft.  Does not mean all Nintendo fans are like that.

The Wii U had the best launch line up except that almost all games were on the PS360.  PS2 has the best launch line up in terms of exclusives.

Id rate the PS4 launch line up a 4/10.

I feel scores are over-inflated nowadays, while most of these games are scoring 70-80, they deserve 60-70.

With that said, I voted decent. Sega Dreamcast, Gamecube, X-Box 1, and Wii had a better line-up. I think a good launch lineup needs at least 1 much have title, and PS4/XBO lack that. Dreamcast had Sonic Adventure, Cube had Pikmin/Luigi's Mansion, and Melee followed 2 weeks later, XB1 had Halo, PGR, and Dead or Alive 3, among others, and Wii had Zelda/Wii Sports

Be specific.

.04% would be 400 units.

Where's Excellent?

very good. with the likes of Killzone, call of duty, battlefield, assassins creed, resogon, etc. its a very strong lineup.
ive only yet completely Killzone: Shadow Fall.
it is definitely under rated. 8.8/10.

I voted decent, it's better than ps3 launch lineup but not the best, however, i realized that ps4 benefit from 3 online popular games that people like. These games would keep people entertained for months.

Killzone Shadow Fall - does it break barriers? No. Did us Sony fans want Killzone to finally make it huge? Yes. It's still a great game, but not outstanding. There are better shooters out there, although you'd be hard pressed to find a better looking one. 8.75/10

Battlefield 4 - The campaign is utter trash, so I am reviewing low for that. From a gamer who enjoys equally the story and online components, that's big for me. The multiplayer is great however. 58 players (I think, might be 56) and 60 fps all while improving visuals a bit from ps3 make it a blast to play. Levelution is awesome. Great shooter.
7.5/10

Call of duty ghosts - I actually like it better than BO2, but that's not saying much. I haven't loved a COD game since the original MW for its perfect story and online. This won't change that. More of the same with some changes here and there. Campaign is better than bf4, but not by much. Online isn't as good as BF4 as far as innovation goes. If you love cod, then this won't away your opinion.
7.0/10

Resogun - gameplay meets perfection. The definition of fun. I LOVE THIS GAME.
9.0/10

Knack - a decent platformer that should have been on ps3 or vita. Doesn't take advantage of next gen hardware. Not a lot of replay ability. Sure it plays like old school crash, but crash didn't age very well anyway.
5.0/10

Nba 2k14 - disappointed. The hype was high, but the final game does not live up to it. I'm a HUGE basketball and 2k fan so I guess I have high expectations. You, however can expect a rehash of 2k13's gameplay with some pretty character models. Wait for 2k15 instead
7.0/10

Need for speed rivals - have not played this one yet

Assassins creed 4 black flag - a great game series that really shines on next gen. Perhaps the biggest improvement from a cross gen title so far. It's not quite AC2 great, but it might be the 2nd best in the series. Runs buttery smooth and is a blast to play. Must have.
8.5/10

OVERA - excellent launch lineup. Compared to the ps3 launch with the likes of Call of drug 3, genji, resistance, and riiiiidddge racer, the ps4 completely blows it out of the water.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

Low Average

Even though I voted decent, I am enjoying what I have. I didn't buy any games but thx to the free trial of PS+, I am enjoying the shit of resogun. It is tons of fun, even with its small amount of levels and ships, specially when you got good music on Music Unlimited to listen to as you play.

Warframe, which I know isn't exclusive, is all pretty damn fun. I can see those two games getting me through until Drive club and InFamous relesease. I'm also excited to see some of the indie stuff coming out soon.

The launch line up isn't good, but I am enjoying what I have gotten my hands on for free.
