Forums - Microsoft Discussion - PS4 hype train has left the station .... Next up Xbox One.

Microsoft as done well to release there console after PS4, all the hype for PS4 has decimated  especially since all the units are sold out and customers have to wait for the next shipments. None of the PS4 games are news worthy or game changer enough to keep the hype going after the November 15th launch.

It doesn't matter which console customer buy since supply constrain will have both PS4 & Xbox One sold out from now to January 1st.

Xbox One now as a week to build up the hype and release all the news. One of Xbox One advantage is that they advertised the system as a multi-media entertainment system and have more then just their initial games lineup to offer customers. To the casual, non-gamer market the Xbox one is going to be the most interesting consoles, Kinect might not be popular among hardcore gamers but it is very family friendly. Xbox One is going to enhance the way family watch netflix and tv.

Should be a big launch, as I think they launch in all 13 announced nations on the 22nd right?

I dont know why you're banking on the ps4 having a worse launch selection when it is the most powerful console

I'm more curious to see how their servers will hold up. I have a PS4 and Sony screwed the pooch royally. Half the damn features that depend on servers aren't working or work and then just quit for no reason. Hopefully, Xbox fans don't have to go through this but we'll see.

I believe Microsoft has something up their sleeve to announce coming 22nd or the night of the release.
I hope Big Tusk and other studios show off what they were cooking for some time now.

Agreed the PS4 is the most powerful console. It's the hardcore gamer console #1 destination if all you cared about was raw power.

Now think of it as a casual gamer or as the regular media convering the PS4 and Xbox One Launch.

The Xbox One is much more news worthy and can have much more entertaining news segment because of the Kinect, Xbox One is a new way to watch TV, because of Skype. PS4 is a gamers machine without a doubt the most powerful console, Xbox one is marketed for everyone. Xbox One could be the Nintendo's Wii of 2013 and years to come. Nintendo Wii won last generation because it manage to grab on to the casual market. Microsoft wants to be the console for both hardcore and casual.

Console loyalty is good as long as it doesn't morph into stockholm syndrome. lol
