It looks like stan/Kyle/Cartman/kenny will not getting a PS4/Xbox one at black friday =p. Would not be surprised that at the end of the episode they are all are crying because they got a WiiU (except butters).

Thank you for the spoilers man :-/

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

interesting. i expect killzone to be (relatively) huge,

Knack should do pretty good too. casual crowd will buy it.

as for the failure rate:

(57) VGC members with a PS4 and (1) casualty.

VGC members PS4 failure rate = 1.75%
-----------------------

(37) PS4 consoles for VGC member family & friend with (0) casualties.

VCG Friend & Family failure rate = 0%
------------------------

(94) total PS4 reported on VGC with (1) casualty.

Total failure rate = 1.03%.

* There is always the possibly of some overlap when speaking in regards to people on PSN friend lists. VGC member % are the most accurate of the ones I have listed.

Unfortunate to hear that the failures is true but very exciting info Ben :) Definitely off to a great start. I am very curious to see how it does after the holidays when the hype dies down.

another ps2,lol!!!!!!! I love the playstation brand, but even I think this is a bit overhyped. Let's just see how this plays out. If it's still selling those numbers, bye the time I get a ps4 in the middle of next year, then I'll be impressed.

1. Sony is back with a vengeance.  The momentum of the PS4 is currently nothing short of astounding.  While the 1 million sales in 24 hours number is impressive Sony could've sold somewhere in the region of 2.5 to 3 million had they provided the inventory.

Surely you jest am I correct ?!

That's unheard of for a console being able to do that! Are you sure this is true ? Have you asked other gamestop stores about this demand going through off the roof ? If so how many ?

I manage a Gamestop store and I echo these same sentiments. If they can get at least one more full size shipment in before XBO hits....... They can do that 1M again for sure. Thats how severe the demand for it is right now. Its all part of the momentum. I imagine XBO can get close to 1M Day one too....but it won't be able to recover from twice as many PS4's sold before it even hits. It may be a semantic but the "mind share" of PS4 being double will carry it even further with the bandwagon croud that is the US market.

I want to know about the statistics. Have you called surveyed enough gamestop stores to say that there maybe a severe lack of inventory ? (By "survey" I mean have you called up about 100 gamestop stores to know if this maybe the case ?)

why does it have to be 100. You can do the same thing with 10 gamestop stores around were you live. Hell,I could probably do that sample myself, but I'm not getting a ps4 until sometime next year. lol
