Not one Xbone is in any home and people expect Forza to outsell SM3DW. Ha!

Sony did the wii u a massive favour by not launching in Japan this month. This totally opens up that market for SM3DW and quite a few sales without gamers having the problem question of "Which of the new consoles should I buy?".

They did the same thing launching Majora's Mask against the PS2 launch.  I think they PS2 wound up getting destroyed at retail.  I can't remember.

This is some of the lowest demand for a Nintendo console I've ever seen. Sony sold over a million consoles in twenty-four hours. Nintendo is going to get raped. I am calling eight to ten million consoles between Microsoft and Sony by the end of the Christmas season. God help Nintendo.

Wii U is a sidekick for 3DS, just like PS Vita for PS4. So, Sony is Home Consoles king and Nintendo is Portable.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

What media market do you live in/near? I live in the tri-state area NYC market, and I am not just seeing Wii U commercials for the first time in the past year, but I have seen them every day for the past few days in a row. I've seen 2 different commercials. 1 for Super Mario 3D World, and 1 for Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics Sochi 2014.

The smart thing would be to not release it the same freaking day Microsoft release their new system.

I don't think it really matters that much to be honest. The XBox One is going after a totally different audience this holiday, largely going to be 18-35 year old males who are hardcore gaming enthusiasts that have $500 burning in their pocket. 

NOA's holiday push this holiday is pretty much centered entirely around the family/kids market. Their TV advertising is fairly indicative of that. As long as SM3D World is out before Black Friday, that's fine.
