even if this is true it wont effect them like it did Wii U, PS4Xbone will have better opening sales on HW and software. and i suspect people will keep buying the launch games for at least a few months.

Wii U games are 8th gen, categorically. To state otherwise is revisionism.

Pikmin and Rayman went from launch titles, to Feb, to August before they finally emerged.

Infamous was never a day 1 release, just launch window, Drive club has slipped, however if they come out in the March, it's still not in the same league as the Wii U slippage (I bought a Wii U day 1 with Pikmin and Rayman being the primary titles I wanted).

If they slip again, then yes time to complain, but as it is they're still "launch window". Wonderful 101 I never realised was even meant to be a launch window title so meh, that didn't affect me personally.

No. WiiU didn't have a drought if you just count any old games. WiiU had a drought in decent noticeable software, something xbox one definitely does not have.

Drought= shortage of liquidity=thirsty?

If we take a look at Wii U owners and how they have reacted when Rayman was delayed:
This was a 100% sign of drought,as rayman is nobody on nintendo systems.
Rayman sold less on Wii than on ps3(and i think even less on non-jump'n'run system 360)
rayman sold even on 3ds less than on vita.

But the delay was reason for a huge shitstorm.
I can't imagine a delay of a game like rayman for ps4,xb1 would cause 5% of the outrage we have seen on Wii U.

The difference is simple:
Wii U owners were not interessted in buying the  available games 
Ps4/xbox 1 owners will buy AC,Batman,Cod,Fifa etcetc=they will be busy using their system.

Another difference ps4/xb1 are offering Big Budget games at release:Ryse,Forza,Killzone,Driveclub(jan.) and(maybe) knack.
Nintendo offered:Another 2d mario(though a 2d mario was released not long ago on 3ds=fatigue)and shovelware minigames Nintendoland: both can be compared with Downloadgames .

Wii U no games? 100% Wrong.
Wii U no games people want to buy?=100% right.

ps4/xb1 more games than wii U first 6 month? i don't think so.
but people will buy those games available instead of boycotting them and won't wait until Sony/MS are ready to
deliver in house exclusive

I always thought the 'drought' that people (mostly Nintendo fans) got upset about was the one from the end of March (after Mon Hunter and Lego City) up till the end of July (Pikmin). I think that was the 4 months people were irate about because the launch games had been played to death by that point. I mean that was one third of a year with very sparse pickings. I think maybe Game and Wario maybe came out in that block but I'm not sure what else?

Except for the fact that wiiU games really aren't good.
