Sony forums are lit up too. They have a wide range of problems apparently.

Sony has so far acknowledged two problems that I can find.

1) a disc eject problem where the disc doesn't eject

2) An improper seating of the hard drive problem

The amazon part hasn't really been confirmed by anyone from what I can see. Some people are claiming its just amazon that has the problem though.

Youre going to get faulty units when its mass produced. the 2-3 week turnaround would annoy me the most if true.Hope this dosnt happen with the XBOX ONE launch because the internet would explode with negative comments

You honestly think something this widespread is trolling? Well it will probably go down in history as one of the top 5 trolling incidents in human history...

Umm... no its not? All launch consoles have issues. This might be more serious than the Wii U's Day One Update thing, and to be honest I was planning to enjoy a bit of fanboy style 'counter-dooming' when the twins came out, but as long as Sony resolve this before Christmas they should be fine.
