Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 and Xbox One both have shitz lineup .... why waste your money.

Sadly, I agree. Indeed, it seems like most of the games I want to play this gen - Mass Effect 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy XV - are probably coming to PC, so I'll place the new consoles as a distant priority as opposed to improving my PC and clearing my backlog.

Dead Rising 3
Ryse
Killer Instinct
Forza 5
Zoo Tycoon
COD
Battlefield
and PEGGLE 2

Is a shit line up??

No it isn't. If people want to "waste" their money A) they obviously don't think they are and B) that's their business.

How does either have a shit lineup? You got CoD, Battlefield, Asscreed, NFS, etc...

Yeah maybe the exclusives won't score 90s, but since when is a 70-79 a bad score?

Stop basing everything off meta. I watched Shu playing Knack last night and I can tell you that I don't understand how in the world it is a 59 overall. Game looks fun. Yeah not 90 game but a 70 at the least.

My daughter wants me to buy it. She watched the entire Knack stream.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

In 4 months both lineups will be better then the one of the wii u.

That'd be true, if the Wii U didn't already have a killer line-up for 2014 with probably more unannounced games to come.

Reading the reviews some even said it was too hard. I think they have been spoilt by easy games too much. Too hard or challenging?

My friend played it at Eurogamer Con and he really liked it. After playing Jak and Daxter on PS3 with PS+ made me realise a truely great platformer is a lost game art. Considering buying a Wii just to play Mario Galaxy. (shame about Jak 2 and 3, open maps and racing is not platforming).

But like most, I don't think the opening line ups on these consoles is great, it's good but not great, wait a year, then you'll have loads to play and the demands won't be there and you might get them cheaper too... all good. PS3 and 360 still have much to offer.

Hmm, pie.

agreed both have shit lineup, but shitty launch games is not why i'm planning to buy ps4. Uncharted 4 announced,Infamous SS,Deep Down,The order 1886,Driveclub. exclusives for ps4 are looking awesome already and one or two more will definitely be announced at VGA's.

I agree, I wouldn't buy one till next year. Plus there's a possibility that one (or both) might get a price cut so really why the rush? Get a 3DS instead this holiday season, that's a console that has games on it.

And please guys, CoD and BF with better graphics (really not that much better) does not make me want to buy a next gen console. Wait till the new Halo, Uncharted, Gears of War, etc.. exclusives release adn when 3rd parties actually deelop next gen software.

And this is why you don't buy consoles on launch day, or even in the launch year.
I always wait and I get more games, cheaper games, cheaper and more stable hardware, better support and a bigger community.
There are literally no drawbacks for me here, one could argue that "you won't get to play the games right away!" Which games? That's part of the main reasons for waiting.
It feels kinda like buying an expensive sportscar and then being unable to fill the tank for 1-2 years.

Shu died ALOT in the Knack stream.
