Ever since the February reveal of the PS4, Sony's message has been all about the games. Xbox One as struggle in their presentation getting a proper message across to the customers.

But now that the time as arrive, PS4 main offering are Killzone and Infamous which are simply sequel to some not so popular(sold less then 2.5 million) Sony franchise and sadly Knack turn out to be a disappointment.

While on the other end, Xbox One is offering two new IP with Titanfall and Ryse, a popular sequel to Forza & Dead Rising. A few Exclusive Kinect games.

Microsoft is delivering compare to Sony on the games front, what happen why aren't the games ready for PS4 launch?  Were Sony press conferences just good marketing fluff?

I agree I almost want to cancel my Ps4 preorder and get the Xbone instead.

Oh I'd suggest changing that dangling modifier about Titanfall (clearly inaccurate). Let's wait and see how the XBO launch goes first, shall we?

Or wait for a good PS4 bundle that come with a game probably in March. I don't see Sony reducing the price anytime soon. Seem like there just no point upgrading right away.

Battlefield and COD are still very fun game on PS360.

I do agree too, but if you look closely Dead Rising didn't sell above 2M while you set it above Killzone 2.5M+, Forza too isn't selling well lately, less than 4M and Horizon is way less than that.
But anyways, it's not about Sales, Xone has a better lineup that's guaranteed. But Sony has an amazing price, with incredible features I like. (PS+ and exclusive IPs)

Launches typically arent very good with games. PS4 and XO are more about the future. I cant fathom why people would buy either system now, if not for the bad games, but for the inevitable 1st gen hardware screw ups.

Hopefully an announcement of Sony Santa Monica or Naughty Dog's new IP will happen very soon so we'll have something other than The Order 1866 & Infamous: Second Son to look forward to next year.

In terms of number & quality of PS4 exclusives things should pick up a lot next year, it's a shame they have such few and poor/mediocre exclusives at launch though.
