Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Finally Remembers How To Market To Families!

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

Around the Network

Seems like quite the effective commercial to target families/ casuals!

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

I don't like it, but it could do the job.

Nintendo and PC gamer

They're getting better. It's less bland than their other commercials of late that just show people playing, this demonstrates the games while making a case for purchasing the hardware (and hammering home the point that it's an upgrade).

Oddly, the Link Between Worlds commercial currently running on American television is what i would call perfect, the right combination of "hook" and "product demonstration." Their Pikmin 3 commercial wasn't bad either.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It's much better than their previous effects at targetting the general public, imo.

Seems like it would be effective, now it just depends on how often it airs.

Now they will finally know that wii u is a new sistem!

We reap what we sow

I actually really like this.
It hits home that it's an upgrade from wii and not just another add-on.
and it targets families and Nintendo is well known as a family friendly company.
It's not the most amazing commercial ever, but i think it's a step in the right direction for them.

On one hand, we, the adult gamer, don't need to be pandered to. Either we still play Nintendo, or we don't.

Its the impressionable minds of children that Nintendo needs to sway. Kinda embarrassing to the adult Nintendo fans to get behind in a forum......but hey it comes with the territory lol

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I did not like it too, maybe because we see it as gamers and not as a Family trying to re-experience the fun they had with the Wii.
