I beat this game, well not at 100% but i beat it.
I collected 24 parts of the ship....
yeah that ending is horrible, there is some kind of "predalien"

Wow, when I started playing Pikmin 2 and noticed they didn't include a timer, I was actually disappointed because it removed a major part of the challenge*.

I beat Pikmin 1 with all 30 parts in 23 days from memory. Took less than 8 hours of game time to get through it all.

*Note: I am still yet to actually get around to finishing Pikmin 2, so I don't know how long it actually takes. I only started to play it for the first time a few weeks back and haven't got back to it.

I've beaten the game several times, I think my fastest was under 20 days.

The 30 day clock made the game great. Without it it would have been too easy. Much like Pikmin 2. There was no challenge.

I beat the game in 25 days with most of the parts on my first play through. Excellent game!

I have the game, but I just haven't gotten the time to play through it. But yeah, the time kind of makes it annoying, but I have been getting one treasure per day, so I am doing pretty good so far. Hopefully I'll make it in time.

 Ah, gotcha, so when you are forced to beat something or be skillful on the fly, you kinda lose your momentum.

 Soriku!  I throw Xenogears from the PS1 at you!  Let's see you complete that game!

BTW it was pretty awesome so it'll be well worth playing through!
